RODES - Hardware Manufacturer

RODES was founded in 1953.

Its activity has been  manufacturer of hardware for buildings and other metallic accessories, in particular for the construction industry.

After a few years RODES started to introduce their hardware in the Portuguese colonies at the time, with success, which had absorbed 60 percent of its production.

Actually RODES exports to three continents; Europe, Africa and America, however its aim is to extend to other continents, to hit 60 percent of exportation; for this it starts to produce also other small metallic accessories and other hardware for rehabilitation of buildings.

The Company, which is committed on Research & Development and to improve the organizational systems, was officially rewarded in this sense, according to the standard NP EN ISO 9001:2000 by the official entity responsible for such certification, SGS ICS - International Certification Services.

Faianças Artísticas Bordallo Pinheiro (Artistic Earthenware) was founded in 1884 with a view to revitalising the traditional arts of ceramics and clay, blending them with the modernity of various styles which are geared towards the future, but, above all, with the originality of their creator, Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro. Licor Beirão

Licor Beirão is a Portuguese liqueur produced since 19th century. Its recipe is a trade secret; the producer, J. Carranca Redondo, Lda., only states it is made from a double distillation of seeds and herbs from all over the world, including Malaysia, Brazil, and Thailand. It has 22% ABV.

This delicious one and known liqueur well Portuguese is produced in the Mountain range of the Lousã. It is prepared with natural products from a double destillation of 12 plants, medicinal and others of strong aroma, such as: eucalipt, cinnamon, rosemary.
